The Scenographies-Paysages project aims to create custom-made choreographic works (in-situ) aimed to explore the artistic potential of rich and unique natural spaces.
Each choreographic proposal created for Les Scénographies-Paysages is unique. It is inspired by the essence of the place and those who inhabit it. This is why we want to establish a link with the communities, both current and ancestral, which are attached to it with an approach that stems from a desire to create in harmony with the environment.
The creation process takes place in two phases. The first phase consists of a period of exploration in the studio in Montreal, marked by several visits to the location of performance to immerse yourself in it and obtain technical information. The second phase, shorter, consists of an intensive period of rehearsals directly on site. During this presence, we wish to develop mediation projects and establish a dialogue with the local communities.
