When Was the last time you sang? by Aurélie Pedron & Robbie Madsen
is an immersive work co-created by Aurélie Pedron and Robbie Madsen, a Two-Spirit Cree artist, bringing together Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists.
The audience is invited to step into a living sculpture, where breath, light, sound, and vibrations unfold from Robbie’s songs. More than mere observation, the experience is sensory: the body feels, the breath calms, and perspectives shift.
Inspired by a question posed by Indigenous Elders—“When was the last time you sang?”—the work offers a space for reconciliation and reconnection: with oneself, with others, and with collective memories.
