Remember that time we met in the future?
Four people inhabit, together and apart, a dreamlike landscape. Guided by a shared, creative rhythm, they embark on a journey that oscillates between stillness and bursts of urgency, weaving connections between past, present, and future. As they transform everyday objects into poetic figures, accumulate them, and then shed them on stage in favour of fleeting images, they invite us to witness their powerful and vulnerable transformation.
In Remember that time we met in the future?, Lara Kramer brings together four Indigenous artists with distinct practices to share and pass on her creative approach. Throughout this choreography, guided by dreams and a return to the ancestors, the dancers reclaim the space and categorically refuse to be diverted from the path they advance—and dance—with determination.
