Audrée Juteau, alongside Zoey Gauld, Catherine Lavoie-Marcus, Ellen Furey/Marilyne St-Sauveur, will present an excerpt from her piece Mystic-Informatic as part of the official Parcours Danse 2023 program.
Two large metal structures, a 1983 computer and small 3D-printed yellow sculptures: in this setting evoking the ruins of capitalism and the waste produced by the constant renewal of technology, dance grows like an optimistic mushroom, the matsutake. In a punkish, apocalyptic and feminist spirit, power is given back to dance and our ecological despair is exorcised.
