The choreographer-performer Katia-Marie Germain will present her Habiter on April 13 and 14 during the Sismògraf 2023 festival (Olot, Spain).
A work for two performers, Habiter is interested in the relationship between body and place. Lit by a single light source, the stage set-up is reminiscent of an everyday situation. In a chiaroscuro aesthetic, a series of movements and gestures are revealed, as usual as they are strange, punctuated by the oscillation of the light that plunges the room into darkness. Playing with illusion and the perception of time, the visible and invisible movements of the bodies subtly modify the visual space, like a painting that comes to life.
