Art Circulation, an organization dedicated to the development and promotion of dance, live arts and performance since 2007, is looking for an open-minded, curious, motivated and fair-minded individual to fill a seat on its Board of Directors. If you love the performing arts and are looking to contribute to the smooth running of a cultural NPO, this seat is for you!
The Board meets 3-4 times a year virtually, and is sometimes called upon to offer advice at other times outside the meetings. The term of office is 2 years.
QUALITIES SOUGHT
- Knowledge of the responsibilities of an NPO Board of Directors;
- Interest in the performing arts;
- Autonomy, attention to detail and resourcefulness;
- Team spirit, caring;
- Independent-minded;
- Concern for fairness.
Candidates will be selected without discrimination based on gender, cultural identity, neurodivergence or physical ability, with the aim of combating the systemic barriers that have historically limited the access of marginalized people to positions of authority and responsibility.
