Fragiles Apparitions – variations in 3 songs is a three-part ritual that explores the soft power of the ephemeral. Amid textile shells and supple forms, soap-film structures and mirrored reflections, the performance-installation unfolds in an immersive, sensory atmosphere where shapes tremble, dissolve, and reappear. Composed of three songs in dialogue, the work is structured in three interconnected movements where dance, material, and live music come together. Each movement reveals a different state of transformation: the delicacy of the living, the slowness of metamorphoses, and the persistence of touch as an act of resistance. The result of a long research process, Fragiles Apparitions brings together the collaborative practice of Sarah Wendt and Pascal Dufaux at the intersection of choreography, sculpture, sound, and installation. Their research explores the viscosity and behavior of materials—soap films, honey, textiles, and hybrid sculptural forms—in relation to the moving body and its sensory perception. In this encounter between body and matter, movement and image, the performance offers a hypnotic and tactile experience—a tribute to the fragility, interdependence, and precariousness of life.
