After its success last year, Move OFF is back for its third edition!
Move OFF is an unusual event whose aim is to provide a space for encounters and uninhibited creativity for artists working in the dance and performance world. Its aim is to highlight experimental and conceptual dance and performance, by providing an alternative space for artists with a wide variety of practices.
Greatly inspired by the spirit of the Phoque OFF festival, the Move OFF team imagines a complement to RIDEAU’s showcases, showing the range of possibilities in order to deepen the discourse around dance and performance practices and approaches in Quebec.
The third edition of Move OFF will take place on February 17, 2025 at 11pm, at La Charpente des Fauves in Quebec City’s Lower Town.
Presentations, pitches or 5-minute excerpts will be shared with the public by the following artists:
Québec – Maya Guy + amies , Fabien Piché + Ève Rousseau-Cyr
Montréal – Karen Fennell
Regions – Sutton -Marjorie Gignac
Art Circulation – Simon Laroche + Liliane Moussa
