The internship will last six months (January to June 2023) and will see the selected person assist the artistic and general co-director in various tasks related to the coordination of activities and the representation of the organization&#8217;s member artists. He or she will also be called upon to take part in market development activities and in the preparation of promotional tools.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, the person must meet the criteria of the DemART program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident at the time of application (October 3, 2022)<\/li>\n<li>be culturally diverse (ethnic or visible minorities)<\/li>\n<li>be an immigrant, newcomer or first generation immigrant<\/li>\n<li>be a self-employed person (practicing an art on his or her own account) according to the laws concerning the status of the artist and the conditions of employment in Quebec<\/li>\n<li>be domiciled on the island of Montreal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Main tasks and responsibilities :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>coordination of activities related to markets and specific projects<\/li>\n<li>contribute to the development of promotional tools<\/li>\n<li>communicate with partners and members<\/li>\n<li>be present at certain networking activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist the general and artistic co-directors with any reasonable task according to ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Conditions of the internship :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Period: six months (January to June 2023)<\/li>\n<li>Remuneration: $20.00\/hour (contract representing a total of 600 hours)<\/li>\n<li>Attendance at the organization&#8217;s events may be required (atypical schedule, sometimes evenings and weekends)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in this position and are eligible, please send your resume and cover letter to the attention of <strong>Karolina Rychlik<\/strong> and <strong>Jamie Wright<\/strong> at jamie@artcirculation.org before <strong>September 15, 2022<\/strong> at 5:00 pm (Eastern time).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art Circulation is looking for a creative, dynamic and curious person to be an intern for the DemART program coordinated by the Conseil des arts de Montr\u00e9al.
